Random e-mail fwd - but worth it

I got this email the other day with this video attached. What's really cool is that the pentatonic scale he speaks of was invented (or used extensively) way before anyone ever thought of a piano and its black keys. It just so happens that when equal temperament was decided upon, what became the black keys just happened to be the pentatonic scale. You can look up the history of equal temperament and read more about how that came about...that's neat stuff too. It helped make Bach famous.
